East Mebon Temple or Mebon Khang Kert | Siem Reap | Cambodia


In English called The East Mebon is a 10th Century temple at Angkor, Cambodia. Built during the reign of King Rajendravarman, it stands on what was an artificial island at the center of the now dry East Baray reservoir. The East Mebon was dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and honors the parents of the king.

Krol Ko Temple | Siem Reap | Cambodia



Krol Ko is a small Buddhist temple from the 12th century. Its name means “Park of the Oxen” and lies about a hundred meters north from the artificial island Neak Pean nearby the grand circuit.

Bayon Temple | Siem Reap | Cambodia



The Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century as the state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII , the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman's capital, Angkor Thom. Following Jayavarman's death, it was modified and augmented by later Hindu and Theravada Buddhist kings in accordance with their own religious preferences.

Lo-lei Temple | Siem Reap | Cambodia



Lolei is the northernmost temple of the Roluos group of three late 9th century Hindu temples at Angkor, Cambodia, the others members of which are Preah Ko and the Bakong. Lolei was the last of the three temples to be built as part of the city of Hariharalaya that once flourished at Roluos, and in 893 the Khmer king Yasovarman I dedicated it to Shiva and to members of the royal family.

Shopping Street, Siem Reap, Cambodia

It is called Plov Hok Seb means Street 60. The sellers start to prepare shops from 12:00 and they start selling goods and food from 15:00 to 23:00 at night. Furthermore, most of them must take theirs shop to home before sunset because the Siem Reap Authority not allow to open shop in the morning.




It is not big but popular. Cambodians like to go there in the evening with friends and families. Most of foreigners can be happy to go there to buy like shoes, clothes, fruit, snacks, or electronic equipments with suitable price





Fried Ice-scream Rolls at Pub Street, Cambodia

Welcome to Siem Reap Province, Cambodia.It is a kind of street food with suitable price for every visitor and you can spend less. This ice-cream is very delicious. Ok Cambodia will be waiting for you every time. This is the kind of Cambodian lifestyle the affects from the Western countries like English, French, American and Canadian. This ice-scream is very cool.



When everyone arrives Cambodia, don't forget to visit Pub Street near Night Market in Khmer pronounce Phsar Reatrey. For this ice-scream, we just pay only $1 for one cup. Ok go to Pub Street together to get new taste with Cambodians.


Siem Reap Night, Welcome to Cambodia

Siem Reap is the most famous province in Cambodia. It has a lot of wonderful temples and many places to visit. In moreover, in a daytime we can go to visit Angkor Wat and other nearby temples. The people are very friendly and kind. All foreigners can visit in this province peacefully no thieves and rubbers.
 

In addition, At night in Siem Reap is very happy. In the video above is at the National Angkor Musuem. Please be happy with my country, the Kingdom of Wonder.

Sambor Prei Kuk Temples, Cambodia



Prasat Sambor Prei Kuk is an archaeological site in Cambodia located in Kampong Thom Province, 30 km (19 mi) north of Kampong Thom, the provincial capital, 176 km (109 mi) east of Angkor and 206 km (128 mi) north of Phnom Penh. The now ruined complex dates back to the Pre-Angkorian Chenla Kingdom (late 6th to 9th century), established by king Isanavarman I as central royal sanctuary and capital, known then as Isanapura . In 2017, Sambor Prei Kuk was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Bakong Temple, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia


Bakong is the first temple mountain of sandstone constructed by rulers of the Khmer empire at Angkor near modern Siem Reap in Cambodia.

Preah Ko, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia


Preah Ko  (Khmer, The Sacred Bull) was the first temple to be built in the ancient and now defunct city of Hariharalaya (in the area that today is called Roluos), some 15 kilometers south-east of the main group of temples at Angkor, Cambodia. The temple was built under the Khmer King Indravarman I in 879 to honor members of the king's family, whom it places in relation with the Hindu deity Shiva.

Depend on Khmer history, from the first to fourteen century, Cambodians have respected Hindu that has Sri Murti like Brahma, the God that creates the universe, Shiva, the God that creates the universe and destroys the sin and Visnu, the God that protects the universe from the Asura or the bad beings.
Ancient Cambodian History has divided into 3 three big generations like Pre-Angkorean (Phunan from 50-550 AD, and Chenla from 550-802 AD) Angkorean from 802-1421 and the middle period from 1421 to 1863 AD.







Cambodian civilization influenced by Indian cultures like religions, Buddhism, Hinduism. Nowadays, Cambodian people respect Buddhism. they always go to the monastery to give food to the monks for praying to ancestors. Moreover, they believe in Pala and Krama Theory in Buddhism.
